Payment Modalities
When registering online, payment modalities must be
provided. Please note, CARS accepts payment by credit
card and bank transfer only.
Credit Card
We accept the following credit cards: VISA and
MasterCard. The online system uses secure encryption to protect your card and
personal details.
In case of double registration and payment, an
administrative and credit card fee with the total amount of 50 Euros applies
for reimbursement.
Bank Transfer
Payment of the total amount without deductions has to be made within 8 days
after online registration to the following bank account:

Bank fees are the responsibility of the payee.
Reduced Fees for Pre-registration
Pre-registration fees imply that complete registration and payment have been
received by April 25, 2024 (CET).
After that date, the regular registration fees apply.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Fees for CARS 2024
Until May 1, 2024 EUR 80
after May 1, 2024 EUR 100
No cancellation possible after June 1, 2024
No cancellation possible for presenting authors after March 3, 2024
Name Badge Policy
Name badges are not transferable and must be worn at all times for approval of
admission to sessions as well as social events.
This is a personal registration and can not be transferred.
Virtual Participation
Login details you receive for virtual attendance are personal and only
valid for the person who has registered and paid. The login details must not be
shared with others.
Liability
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. The organizers cannot
accept any responsibility or liability for injuries or losses sustained as a
result of any cancellations, accidents, illness or other occurrences that may
arise in connection with the conference functions, Accompanying Persons Program
and Pre- and Post Conference Tours. In case of force majeure situation, such as
spread of communicable diseases, etc., a change of venue and timing of the
congress may be necessary. No compensation or reimbursement will be possible in
any of these circumstances. Participants are advised to take out appropriate
travel and health insurance themselves.
In case of cancellation of the congress (i.e. if a change of venue and timing
of the congress is not possible), the congress organizers reserve the right to
either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future
conference, or to reimburse the attendee after deducting costs already incurred
for the organization of the conference and associated publications, and which
could not be recovered from third parties.
Privacy Policy
By submitting this form, you agree that CARS may save
your personal data, as provided in this form, for the purpose of payment
procedures and CARS event activities in accordance with the Personal Data
Protection Law.
By registering, you give us permission to save and
process your contact information in order to process payment and for conference
organisation purposes.
We will not share your data with third parties other than indicated below.
You can ask for your contact details to be deleted
from our records at any time by sending us an email. Contact details can be

Your contact details will be shared with
www.springer.com (the publisher of the International Journal of CARS and the
CARS Proceedings), in order to provide you with access to the one-year subscription
of the International Journal of CARS. You can read about their data protection
policy at https://link.springer.com/privacystatement.
Should you not wish your data to be shared with
Springer, you can indicate this during the registration process. Please note
that, if you do not agree to your data being shared with Springer, you will not
be able to access the journal online.
